Corey Hunter

It was a crisp day in April when mankind was gifted with a child destined to become a Nike running force the likes of which the world had never seen. The running world would unknowingly be forever changed, as would all of those who came in contact with Nike East Running Van. This boy is now a man, and that man is Corey. This is his story.

Corey went to Walton H.S. in Marietta, Ga where he spent his time running the trails around the Chatahoochee river and trying his best to find his way into underground world of cup stacking. After developing somewhat of a cult folliwing on the I.S.C. (International stacking circuit ), he narrowed his focus on a more enjoyable (and less hazardous) post-collegiate running career at the University of Georgia. During his stint as Bulldog he accrued two varsity letters and competed in the SEC and Regional track and cross country meets. Not one for taking the easiest route around the track, he carved out his niche in the steeple chase.

After college Corey was found himself in the real world looking for an outlet for his love and knowledge for all things running. Luckily he had been set in the right direction early on while working at Nike's Smoky Mountain Running Camp. It was here he really came to love the culture of running, and the grassroots way in which Nike went about cultivating it. So to Nike running it was, and now, armed with this knowledge, he travels the country spreading the love of running to all who will listen.
