We just had a GREAT weekend in upstate NY on the Spike Bus. We mad a nice stop at Greenwich High School, which apparently is the home of many talented and professional spike bag customizers. We then arrived bright and early at Saratoga State Park for the NYSPHSAA Section 2 Championships, it was here that we witnessed some outstanding performances and obviously had loads of fun. If you want to talk about fast, Shaker boys team averaged 15:26! I'm hoping you all understand that is a pretty impressive team average, I guess thats how you get to be ranked 8th in nation! It was great seeing schools that we have already seen such as the Spartans of Queensbury and Burnt Hills (who went head to head in some good races), Maple Hill, Shenendoah, Shaker, and Greenwich. Because of their awesome performances at sectionals we will also get to see these speed demons run again at NYS Championships in Pawling this weekend! Until then, Happy Trails!
